Logo is IN!

I am beyond excited to announce my official logo for Vaclavik Educational Consulting!  I have to give a huge thank you to Nikki Larsen, who took a vague idea of mine and transformed it into this representation of the “why” behind my consulting. cropped-vaclavik-educational-consultant-logo-18-01.jpg

When thinking about what I wanted to represent my company I couldn’t help but go back to my why.  In my previous post I mentioned that during my time teaching my husband and I struggled to begin and grow our family.  This was a critical time in my life, and one where I can clearly identify how instructional coaching could have played a critical role in my growth as an educator. The inspiration behind this logo links to that time period in my life.

The tree represents my children that have been able to put their roots down.  I have been blessed to have three healthy children.  Hadley is my five year old that is fiercely independent; she is a true first child.  Caleb is our puzzle master at three years old and may have his mommy wrapped around his finger.  Harper is the last child by one whole minute and she is our animal lover; she will melt your heart in a moment.  These three kids make every day exciting and have given me a new life and perspective on the world of education.

The bird in the logo represents my four children that earned their wings instead of roots.  They made me a mother before I had a baby in my arms.  They have made me find a strength in myself I didn’t know I had.  I will never understand why they couldn’t be here with me but I know that they changed me and helped me to gain a new perspective on life.

This logo represents me.  It represents me as an educator, coach, mother, and person.  It is the perfect image to represent my company.
